The Christians making up the State Line congregation are unashamed disciples of Jesus Christ. (Romans 1:16)  It is ONLY through Jesus Christ that reconciliation to our heavenly Father can be accomplished. (John 14:6)  Jesus gave instructions to His disciples to take the Gospel out to the world. (Mark 16:15-16; Acts 8:12; 2 Timothy 2:2)  This local congregation is able to do the work God gave us to do and it is our will to be actively engaged in this work.  We make regular efforts, both personally and as a congregation, to reach out to the lost world with the saving gospel of Christ.  In our local communities, we strive to reach people using opportunities such as festivals, flea markets, and gospel meetings.  Individual Christians are engaged in reaching out and sharing the gospel with their friends and neighbors.  The congregation also supports the evangelist at State Line Church of Christ in the work of spreading the gospel to distant parts of the world.  In everything, it is our desire that such be done for the glory of God and the saving of souls.
